At 14, my parents gave me my first VHS camera. Thanks to this gift my passion for cinema was born.
Once i'd completed my A-Levels in 1999, i began an audiovisual and cinema training in Martinique.
Following my training, i kept working in the film industry, as an assistant director, cameraman and camera operator.
In 2005, after completing further education courses in writing and directing at the International Institute of Image and Sound, and wrinting residencies (GREC, Moulin d'Andé and DOC Monde), i started bringing to the screen the visual landscapes and stories that i know so well, from my background in the West Indies and Guyana. My movies have been selected in many festivals, garnering rewards, while the others have had positive reactions when they aired on television.
